Appellation: Alexander Valley
Winemaker: Chris Bilbro
Released: February 15th
2008
The '04 Angeli Cuvee is a solid gradient richer
than the well reviewed
'03 (Robert Parker 92 point rating) Huge ripe blackberry
and cherry fruit lies just under the surface of
this lush beauty. This was one of the vintages
I've worked with and subsequently this is one of
the better Cuvee's I've made.
The combination of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and
Carignane blend harmoniously with toasty oak assuring
for a definite ongoing evolution of flavor and
aromatic complexity.
Grape Source: Alexander Valley, (Sonoma County)
Color: Dark Ruby
Oak aging: 18 months, primarily French oak
Aging potential: 5-10 years...maybe more?
