Lot 28 looks and tastes a lot like
our Zinfandel, which incidentally makes up half of
the blend. It is rich, ripe, juicy, and ready to drink
with lots of blackberry fruit and hints of pepper
and spice. It would probably stand up well in a blind
Zin tasting.

30% Carignane, balanced with Grenache and Gamay. |
Color: Dark ruby purple
Aroma: Ripe berry fruit,
black pepper spice, and hints of oak.
Palate: Round and mouth filling.
Smooth, warm, rich and creamy.
Aging: Best within 1 to 3
years.
Lot 28 falls right in line
with the 27 lots prior; it is a balanced, approachable,
lip-smacking red wine ready to drink upon purchase.
