2002 Cabernet Sauvignon

Appellation: Sonoma County
Owner/Winemaker: Chris Bilbro
Release date: September 1, 2005

The 2002 Cabernet has a dark ruby almost opaque color, a dense nose of black currants, cassis and integrated toasty oak, and overall aromas that are full and rich with definition to come with age.

A mouthful on the palate, it is dominated by classic cassis and currants, some subtle earthy notes and a toasty oak background.

This is a very big Cabernet that will definitely improve with aging, -easily 5-10 years.

4% Merlot

Oak Aging: 16 months primarily French with some American barrels

Aging Potential: 5-10 years
