In comparison to past Cuvee’s, the 2002 Angeli Cuvee, in its youth, offers a bit more focus, hinting towards increased longevity. Dense and luscious as always, there is a deep core of ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit flavors that when paired with hints of oak and licorice combine to offer a huge wine.
The combination of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Carignane blend harmoniously with toasty oak assuring for an ongoing evolution of flavor and aromatic complexity.
