2001 Angeli Cuvée

Appellation: Alexander Valley
Owner/Winemaker: Chris Bilbro
Released March 1, 2005

The 2001 Angeli Cuvee may well be one of the best Chris has ever made. The wine is simply packed with fruit, structure, and a thick luscious palate coating core of berries.
A perfect combination of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Carignane blend harmoniously with toasty oak. Blackberry, blueberry, anise and toasty oak flavors and aromas are immediately evident. The depth and denseness of the wine however, assures for a continuing evolution of flavor and aromatic complexity.

Grape Source: Alexander Valley (Sonoma County) California

Color: Dark ruby

Oak Aging: 18 months primarily French and some American oak

Aging Potential: 5-7 years…maybe more?
