Robert
Parker said the 1999 Zinfandel
is "An excellent,
full-bodied (14.5% alcohol)
Zinfandel with plenty
of peppery, briery fruit,
and more elegance than
many of its peers."
89 points.
The 2000
is more supple and lush
on the palate with a slight
tannin rim centering the
fruit. Ripe blackberries,
rich fruit cake and toasty
oak flavors dominate this
unctuous palate filling,
offering that will age
easily 3-5 years, but
is hard to leave alone
now.
